I used the New Albion recording of Morton Feldman’s _Rothko Chapel_.  I imported the five movements into SoundForge, then time-compressed the 24-minute piece into a 24-second pulse and a 2.4-second pulse.  I then arranged five variations of the pitch-shifted and effected pulse train.
